(Byakko looks up at you and tilts her head to the side…takes a step then falls over her own feet, then quickly gets back up as if nothing happened, then looks back at you proudly)

“So you wants to know more about Miss’tris? Oks, I can tell you some things, if you can sit with me a bit and pets me?”

(Byakko walks over to a comfy spot and waits for you to follow and sit down on the ground with her. She jumps up on your lap and snuggles in and starts licking her paw to wipe her face a few times, before sitting up and looking at you to start her story)

“When Miss’tris first adopted me I was a babe, and she was sooo prettiful and kind. She would travel around helpings all the peoples using her dancing, jumping around and throwing those round sharp things. She would tells me to stay somewhere safe but I used to watch, my teenie eyes would be so big watching her. I luvs her from the moment she scooped me up and has been by her side since. We has a thing, to curl up in front of a fire, any fire, outside she would build one, or we could find an inn or shelter with a fire. Even if it is warmer outside, she said the fires helped reset her mind, having me on her lap and talkings to me and pettings me. I luv the pets. It become our every night special time, and its how I know so much bout Miss’tris.”

“Miss’tris already knew’d Mr Sohins before she found me, and was meeting up with hims a lot. I didn’t know if I liked hims to be honest. My whiskers used to twitches and my nose crinkled up when he started joining in on our special night time by the fires. After a while though, his pets were really nice and I seen’d how much he luvs Miss’tris too. She told him even more stories than she ever told me. She trustes him with her life, he was and still is her world, her rock her eternity. That’s what she says. She uses big words, I don’t really understands them, but her eyes tell the whole story. His too, they are a team and they both luvs me.”

“Mr Sohins would ask about when she was little and she used to sigh at him and say it was all normals and borings. Things only started to get interesting after she left her home to find her own way out in the world. She doesn’t like talking about her past though, not to everyone. But I knows some stuff. Like when she started not dance fighting anymore, she started using a big slicer that farmers use and things stopped looking pretty. Miss’tris got scary, she would have this big dark ghostie monster help her fight things now, sometimes as an extra helper but sometimes…(almost in a whisper) …sometimes Miss’tris turned INTO the scary monster. Her pretty eyes go all red and she looks scary. When I asked her why, she told me it was all ok, that I didn’t have to worry, she wouldn’t let monster hurt me. But I hear it, it laughs at me before it disappears, I don’t like it. Miss’tris says she has to feed it, and that its worth it, for the help it gives her. I get extra tight cuddles when she tells me not to worry, but I does. Can you help me look after her? Mr Sohins looks after Miss’tris so very well but sometimes he is too busies.”

“Miss’tris used to play naughty, when she didn’t has the Gil to buy foods she used to play with all kinds of different people, for alones times. She said she did what she had to do to eat, and she talks about those times quietly. She said that not all the peoples were nice to her and that made me wanna go bite their toeses, but Miss’tris just giggles at me and says they aren’t worth the troubles. Miss’tris 'splained that she tells these stories to me so that I can sees why she helps peoples do that kinda thing to earns the Gil. It’s something peoples do that get them the monies, some like it some have to do it, she don’t ask the reasons why they do it but she wants to give them a nice big safe place to do that in. Not get hurts like she did. That’s why Mr Sohins and Miss’tris made a big family of all kinds of peoples and worked so hard to give them a home. Not just to those peoples but to anyone who wants a homes, she loves to give people a safe place to call homes and she has so many around that are warm and safe now.”

(Byakko steps off your lap to stretch and once again loses her balance only to regain it and sit perfectly fine next to you)

“They sometimes worked so hard that our special night times by the fires turned into sleeps by the fires, all cuddled up together. I luvs that too but I misses the stories sometimes. I follows Miss’tris around all day and night to keeps and eye on her, and she shows everyone all the luv with kisses and flowers. She still plays with that scary monster though, have you seen it? It ascares me but the prettiful Miss’tris I luvs always comes back. I dunno what me would do if she didn’t, can you help me look afters her?”

(Byakko walks up to you and smooches your leg)

(Off in the distance a woman’s voice echos out)

“Byakko, darling where are you? Byakko? Come my pet, we have patrons to greet!”

(Byakko jumps up and starts to dart off, stopping suddenly she looks back at you and smiles)

“That's Miss’tris! I has to go, nice to meet you! “

(Byakko runs back to smooch your leg once more quickly, before dashing off again...)
